Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Directs and guides members of management and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques by modeling excellent
customer service (for example, tour to teach); ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines
and standards; building relationships with associates to ensure proper feedback; and answering questions or providing information to customers and
associates.
Drives and ensures the financial performance of the facility by confirming that budgeted sales, wages, and other expenses are achieved; assisting the
store manager in leading the management team in controlling expenses and wages to ensure expenses are indexed to sales; creating and
implementing plans to improve the financial performance of the facility; creating budgets to align with business need; and analyzing economic trends
and community needs for budget forecasting.
Participates in community outreach programs and encourages and supports associates in serving as good members of the community by establishing
and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups in the community; acting as the representative for the company; presenting the
company's perspective to various external organizations following the company's media guidelines; and promoting company- sponsored programs,
events, and sustainability efforts to associates, and the local community to emphasize the facility as part of the community.

Supervising a team, you'll ensure adherence to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.

The essential functions of the Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Tech:
Maintain and repair Walmart facility's HVAC/R equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart HVAC/R safety policy and environmental guidelines.
Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Tech Position Requirements:
18 years or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalentVocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 6 months' experience, OR 2 years total work experience, in commercial refrigeration, mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.Type I and Type II EPALarge Scale Rack Refrigeration ExperienceValid Driver's LicenseCan lift up to 75 lbs.Can Move up and down ladders frequently.Comfortable working at heights frequently
Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: 10 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration. Option 2: 8 years' experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
