We focus on families, small business owners and individuals with complicated fiscal dynamics. We are a growing wealth management firm which is expanding our team this year by adding a Trader. Position OverviewAs a Trader, you will trade individual stock, bonds, and other investment instruments. You will be responsible for reviewing the client portfolios and preparing client portfolio proposals. Along with working closely with the advisor teams.
Responsibilities· Trade individual stocks and bonds over multiple custodial platforms.· Review and manage retail client portfolios.· Create client portfolio proposals for new and existing clients in support of advisor teams.· Apply knowledge of market and economic trends to existing client portfolios.· Research stock market and investment opportunities; utilizing performance and analytical databases along with related index benchmarks.· Research individual holdings for clients when needed.· Develop new and efficient ways to manage client portfolios using custodial and third-party technology platforms.· Manage and review the firms’ trading activity.· Responsible for contributing to investment analysis and research leading to recommendations for client portfolios and overall firm allocations.· This position will be a part of the investment committee to determine firm-wide allocations and maintain buy and sell disciplines.
