The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. ResponsibilitiesLead hiring process: develop and update job descriptions, source and recruit candidates, screen resumes, and conduct phone and in-person interviews while administering company assessmentsManage and update HR documents related to new hires and terminationsVerify the candidate's background by contacting references and using a third-party software platformEnroll new employees by issuing forms and applications; verifying completionSelect yearly broker/vendor and enroll employees by explaining benefit programsOrganize, compile, and update company personnel records and documentationOrganize and manage new employee orientation, and on-boarding, assist with training programs, and manage employee termination processMonitor employees under the Performance Improvement PlanTrack all employees’ sick, personal, and vacation timeEnter date, prepare, and review bi-weekly payroll reports - salaries and commissions - to ensure accuracy. Prepare recurring payroll reports associated with 401k, tax reporting, and other benefit-related reportsMaintain manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidentialPrepare, manage, and store paperwork for HR policies and proceduresObtain and orient temporary help by forwarding requirements and criteria to temporary services; providing information and directionMaintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achievedEnsure company compliance with legal requirements related to human resources managementPerform other duties as required or assigned

QualificationsBachelor's degree – required · HR Generalist/Manager: 3 years – required · Full Cycle Recruiter: 1 year – requiredMaster's degree in human resource management – preferredExperience in Paylocity HRS/Payroll and Employee Navigator – preferredSHRM certification – preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with labor laws preferredService Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help peopleAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost privacyMust have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlinesMicrosoft Office: Word, PPT, and Excel
