Our Driver may be autonomous, but Waymo’s finances are steered by experts like you. The Finance and Accounting group manages all aspects of our finances and serves as trusted advisors for all our strategic and enterprise endeavors. Along with managing compilation of our financial statements, looking after our cash and overseeing compliance, we partner with the business in overseeing company wide resource allocation, developing the latest compensation initiatives and generating detailed financial analyses to drive the business forward. We also develop advanced capital strategies to support our short- and long-term future.

You will be remote and report into our Accounting Manager.

In This Role You'll

Manage Waymo's equity plan administration, including award grants, handling liquidity events, and addressing employee queriesCollaborate with Compensation, Finance, and People teams for equity award modeling and analysisCoordinate with Tax team and Shareworks for precise tax calculations and complianceOversee Shareworks system requirements and vendor relationsSupport accounting tasks and presentations, including equity accounting and operational/payroll accounting

At a Minimum We'd Like You To Have

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience4+ years of relevant equity administration experienceExperience with Shareworks or a comparable equity management platform (Carta, Certent)Experience maintaining strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information

It’s Preferred If You Have

Experience driving process improvements and other project management experienceCPA, CEP (Certified Equity Professional) or working knowledge of US GAAP

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.

Salary Range

$120,000—$151,000 USD
