Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Deductions Specialist to join our tribe. This position is part of our accounting team and is responsible for processing defective returns and issuing credit. If you have experience working in Deductions or Accounts Receivables, please consider joining our tribe!
This position is based in our San Diego location and does not offer relocation assistance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Accurate and timely review and investigation of assigned types of deductions to determine if they are invalid or validIdentifies and gathers supporting documentation and processes complex valid deductions to include non-complianceIdentifies, classifies, and gathers supporting documentation; disputes and follows up on all invalid deductionsFiles claims to customers when appropriate and follows up on statusMonitors impact and efficiency of corrective measures and report findings to involve all parties concernedAnalyses dispute success rate and report findings to more senior staffMaintains files and documentation
What You’ll Bring To The Role
2+ years high volume AR and/or deductions processing experience5+ years customer service experience.Exceptional attention to detail.Proven track record of working independently with a degree of tenacity, follow up and to achieve results/goals.Proficiency with MS Excel.Experience in analysis, preferred. Experience in Consumer Goods arena a plus.
Total Rewards
$56250 – $68000 / year includes base salary plus 10% - 15% profit-sharing contribution to your retirement account. Salary is determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data
