Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for overall project management including but not limited to site safety, production, commercial and personnel supervision.

This position is located in Cranford, NJ.

Responsibilities

Responsible for project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy Represents Company in project meetings with owner or agent Monitors/controls construction and safety, through administrative direction of onsite Superintendent, and Project Engineer to ensure the project is done safely, on schedule and within budget Investigates potentially adverse situations and implements corrective measures. Responsible for financial aspects of the project including equipment, payroll, equipment repair and material purchase and subcontracting.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in construction, design, finance, and management preferredProficient skills in standard office software programsSupervisory experience preferredAbility to work a 40-hour work week, M-F, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., additional hours as neededThis position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language

Working Conditions

Ability to navigate project sites, which may include walking, climbing, and/or bendingAbility to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions75-100% of time will be working outside walking the jobsite and getting on equipment
