High Grade Trader - Credit Sales and Trading

The Credit Sales and Trading group within Corporate and Investment Banking is seeking a High Grade trader who will be responsible for trading investment grade corporate bonds and managing his/her own P&L.

This position is available in our New York City; Charlotte, North Carolina or Boston, Massachusetts.

In This Role, You Will

Effectively manage risk positions across high grade credit within the guidelines of Wells Fargo's internal trading mandateWork with desk strategists and sales to source and develop unique trade ideas to introduce to clients and create liquidityCreate and maintain relationships with buy-side trading counterparts, internal sales and trading personnel across all trading desksCreating and maintaining relationships with internal business partners, such as Market Risk, Compliance, Finance, and the Independent Price Verification team

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

10+ years of Investment Grade corporate credit trading experienceExceptional credit knowledge with a history of managing risk in high grade creditsStrong analytical skills, financial modeling, and an understanding of all credit productsEstablished relationships across the investment grade credit markets including buy-side clientsOrganized, affable, and able to work in a collegial, team-oriented environment Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with Bloomberg and other industry software technologies

Up to 10% travelRegistration for FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. Base pay range for this position in New York is 275,000.00 - 275,000.00 USD

May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
