About This Role
Wells Fargo Rail is seeking a Lead Rail Sales Representative for the Central/Southwest United States.
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the management and development of a portfolio of customers and their associated rail car leases. Key success criteria will be:
Providing the highest level of customer service throughout the leasing cycleEffectively executing Wells Fargo Rail's commercial strategyDeveloping strategic relationshipsGenerating new investment opportunitiesActively seeking and sharing market information, developing an understanding of industry trends, and formulating objective inputs to investment and divestiture plansThe ability to work with and influence all levels (internally and externally)
In this role, you will
Be the commercial lead and primary relationship manager for a commercial territoryLead a cross functional team within Wells Fargo Rail to provide best-in-class customer service and supportCapture market data, identify industry trends, produce detailed call reports, and make recommendations that will directly impact business strategy and investment decisionsBuild and expand relationships at multiple levels, facilitating comprehensive account planning and the development of a commercial pipeline that supports our customer's needs and the continued growth and development of the Wells Fargo Rail portfolio
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Railcar Finance Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
5+ years of Railcar Sales, Leasing, Finance, Credit, or other related experience demonstrated through one, or a combination of the following: commercial or marketing experience with a Railroad, commercial or portfolio experience with a railcar lessor or builder, commercial experience with a large rail shipperKnowledge of the rail industry: experience with a Class I Railroad, rail car leasing company, or rail car builder; a comprehensive understanding of rail cars and the markets/commodities they serve; an understanding of rail car leases and industry practiceProven experience implementing and executing sales or territory management strategies that deliver financial results and grow strong relationshipsAbility to analyze trends and develop corresponding strategies in a diverse and competitive marketStrong financial, accounting or data analysis backgroundStrong risk and controls orientationExperience with Salesforce

Ability to travel up to 75%
100% Remote work location is available for this position. Individual must be located within Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, or Illinois.

Rosemont, IL- $126,400-$262,600
Chicago, IL- $126,400-$262,600
Omaha, NE - $120,400-250,000
San Antonio, TX- $120,400-250,000
Dallas, TX-$120,400-250,000
Fort Worth, TX- $120,400-250,000
Kansas City, KS-$120,400-250,000
Overland Park, KS- $120,400-250,000
Kansas City, MO-$120,400-250,000
Salary range is determined by location of the job. May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards.
