Senior Sourcing Consultant - Technology

About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Sourcing Consultant to join the Strategic Sourcing Team as part of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO).

In This Role, You Will

Lead and manage spend categories, develop strategies and negotiate contract for products, services, and suppliersContribute to category saving targets for multiple categories and supplier performanceReview and analyze contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunitiesDetermine deal strategy and control all aspects of contract negotiations and cost-effective supplier assessmentsManage entire contract process from origination to final execution ensuring all required documents are received, filed, and executedMaintain all contract administration systems and prepare all lease agreements and related contractual documents ensuring are in compliance with policies and proceduresCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to ensure appropriate language is used to achieve final contract documentsLead projects and mentor less experienced staffResearch and respond to internal or external inquiries

Required Qualifications

4+ years of Sourcing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. 3+ years sourcing experience with technology and telecom supplier3+ years of contract negotiation and pricing experience3+ years of procurement and supply chain management experience2+ years of financial services industry, consulting or regulatory experience

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Information Technology experience including the following: Telecommunications (AT&T, Verizon, etc.), Network Hardware (Cisco, HP, IBM)Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsIntermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skillsContract interpretation skills - including drafting, reviewing and interpreting contractsExperience negotiating contracts and sourcing for a large complex organization in a highly regulated environmentProject manage deals, including legal, financial and stakeholder reviewsExperience in benchmarking and analysis capabilitiesProficiency with web-based contract management, strategic sourcing (RFx) and reverse auction tools (ex: Beeline, Emptoris, and Ariba)Work in fast paced environments and adjust to change quicklyBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics, Business, or FinanceThe position offers a hybrid work schedule of three (3)-days a week in the office and two (2)-days a week remote inclusive of holidays and vacation days counting as days in the office.
