Construction Project Manager

One of our leading MNC client is looking for Construction Manager and the details are as follows:

Job Location: West Virginia, USA

Requirements:Experience: 15-20 years in managing construction sites.Leadership: Led multidisciplinary teams of engineers in Petrochemical or chemical plant environments.Technical Expertise: Proficiency in various construction aspects such as heavy lifts, structural steel buildings, pipeline erection, welding, alignment of rotary equipment, etc.Knowledge Base: Quality, Safety, Logistics, Pre-commissioning, Contract Management, International Codes, Standards, Material reconciliation.Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret drawings in 2D, 3D, piping isometrics, and work with computer applications.Project Management: Experience in budgeting, scheduling (especially for EPC phase), team organization, risk management, and construction monitoring.

Responsibilities:Project Management: Oversee team on-boarding, recruitment, engineering coordination, local procurement, safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.Key Result Areas:Safety: Ensure incident-free execution.Quality: Implement and adhere to Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).Schedule and Planning: Maintain a 90-day look ahead and ensure adherence.Cost: Minimize change orders from construction contractors.Coordination:Report to Project Manager.Coordinate with the US Coordinator, Site Owner, and Construction Contractors.Review and generate progress reports regularly.Provide:Maintain daily logs of progress, cost, safety metrics, etc.Submit weekly construction progress reports.Provide monthly reports to stakeholders.Additional Notes:The CM will be responsible for guiding and managing construction contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.Regular communication with stakeholders and adherence to agreed plans are essential.Monthly plans should be agreed upon with the Project Manager.
