JOB: Senior Accountant -Local to Nashville, TN LOCATION:Nashville, TN
Perform general accounting entries, analysis, and reporting.Prepare and maintain account reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts.Flexible knowledge and willingness to support multiple accounting areas (general ledger, cash and banking, prepaids, inventory, fixed assets, accruals, etc.) with common business tasks.Assist with quarterly review and annual audits, including the compilation and preparation of supporting schedules, work papers, and financial reports related to areas of responsibility.Analyze monthly financial data and make sure all monthly activity has been recorded and reconciled.Perform and review Sarbanes Oxley controls related to areas of responsibility.Perform financial analysis to help support and evaluate decisions made by the Company s senior management team.Proactively team with other business functions to facilitate process improvement and resolve accounting issues.Ability to understand and map end-to-end accounting cycles.Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests, and other tasks as assigned.
Staff Accountant or Sr Accountant at other public companiesMicrosoft Dynamics 365 or other large company ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday)Worked with SOX controlsWorked with Auditors or has some Auditing experience (they are audited by PwC)Bachelors or higher in Accounting
