📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client, a fast-growing 200-person, $15b AUM hedge fund, is seeking to add a Paralegal to their internal legal and compliance team. The firm is located downtown Manhattan and is hybrid in-office.
Job Function
Work collaboratively with a legal and compliance team of ten Engage in the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds Monitor management of private investment funds Review trading counterparty matters Ad hoc compliance and regulatory issues Conduct AML and KYC matters with new trading relationships
Job Requirements
2-3 years of experience at AmLaw or equivalent, an investment firm, or a registered investment advisor AML and KYC experience a plus intellectually curious and team-oriented mindset Ability to pivot and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Undergraduate degree is required
