A large nonprofit organization located in New York City is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their grants and contracts department. A hybrid schedule will be offered after 6 weeks and there is potential to become a permanent member of the team. If you are interested, please apply below!
Job Function
This role is going to be supporting the Fiscal Grant accounting team The main focus will be providing fiscal support and operational reporting by preparing financial reports that compare actual results against budget and conducting monthly meetings with programs to aid them in their decision-making process.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting At least 5 years of related experience Some experience with government accounting portals (i.e. DYCD, DOE, HHS accelerator, DHS, HRA, OTDA) Pivot Tables and V-Lookups are a must, experience with Lawson is a plus
