📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A Private Equity backed building materials company with multiple sites and business lines is looking to hire a staff accountant.
Job Function
Assist with day to day accounting Reconcile invoices for Accounts Payable Manage unapproved AP, unbilled AP, & AP Agings Assist Credit Department with monitoring A/R and providing associated analysis Application and depositing of customer payments, daily credit card reconciliations Complete various reporting; including a daily Flash Report, Sales Reporting and Inventory Valuation reports Assist in year-end audits, 1099 reporting, and year-end reconciliations Assist Controller w/month-end close and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Assist w/budgeting and forecasting Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reporting for management review
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting At least 1-2 years or audit and/or accounting experience CPA or parts passed preferred Proficient in Excel Experience with an ERP System Ability to work with all levels of management and personnel Strong communication and organizational skills
