Tax Senior/Supervisor Accountant CPA

WILLIAMS OVERMAN PIERCE, LLP, a regional accounting and consulting firm with offices in Greensboro, Raleigh, and Wilmington, currently has a position for a Tax Senior or Tax Supervisor. Responsibilities include:• Assume tax preparation responsibilities for complex 1040s as well as business returns.• Perform technical tax review. • Ensure exceptional client service. • Independently research tax issues. • Supervise, develop, and train staff. • Contact clients regarding tax issues.

Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience.• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. • Experience with CCH software and a paperless work environment a plus. • CPA certification or progress toward CPA licensure strongly preferred.• Multistate tax return experience a plus.• Perform effectively in a team environment.• Ability to work on multiple client engagements and adhere to deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal skills.
