ATE Test Engineer (Advantest 93K)Location: Santa Clara, CAPermanent Role
Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced ATE Advantest 93K Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of Advantest 93K Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to ensure optimal performance and functionality. This role requires expertise in electronics, instrumentation, and semiconductor testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Advantest 93K ATE to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions promptly.Calibration: Conduct regular calibration of test equipment to maintain accuracy and precision in measurement.Assist in ATE tester bring-up preparations and execute necessary tester reconfigurations.Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, calibration results, and equipment history for reference and reporting.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including test engineers and production personnel, to address equipment-related issues and optimize testing processes.Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ATE systems.Install and update OS/Firmware based on provided instructions.Train other team members on relevant procedures.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Advantest 93K ATE systems.Strong knowledge of semiconductor testing processes and equipment.Proficiency in reading schematics, troubleshooting electronics, and using relevant test instruments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Experience with software tools used in ATE systems.Knowledge of Linux commands.Proficient in using Digital Multimeters (DMM) and possess basic hardware tool knowledge.
