The purpose of the Reconciliation Project Manager role is to be the single point of accountability for the oversight of reconciliation operational projects to meet project objectives and manage the day-to-day activities of assigned projects of varying complexity. The role will be both internally and externally facing.

Managing and communicating a clear vision of varying project objectives and motivating the team membersUnderstanding, documenting and communicating the definition of completion criteria (measurable milestones)Organizing the activities into manageable work packages for team members and determining an effective approach to completing the workEnsuring that appropriate timing, resources, and sequencing of the work efforts are aligned to produce the desired result within a given period of timeSupport the Recon team in scheduling and prioritizing workload given resource constraintsManaging relationships to accomplish the activitiesManage multiple project schedules to minimize resource conflict and facility activity conflictCommunication of project schedule updates to Recon leadershipMaintaining assertiveness to achieve goals as quickly as possibleMonitoring project activities and reporting on status utilizing standard reporting processes and toolsIdentifying potential scope changesReviewing quality of work and managing integration of team members’ workIdentifying and managing risks and issuesCoaching those working on activities to clarify assignments and deliverablesDocumenting and analyzing lessons learned and sharing with othersValidating the completion of project documentation and relevant knowledge bases

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree – Required3+ years of experience in project management work, preferably in the healthcare ACA insurance space3+ years in IT environment (with project experience)Communication - communicates clearly and conciselyCustomer orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectationsPC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other PM tools as requiredHas excellent presentation and documentation skillsPMP is desiredExperience with ACA healthcare is desired
