The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Central Texas was founded in 1961 and provides much-needed support through financial aid, food, transportation, free prescriptions, clothing and spiritual support. All programs are offered to residents across Central Texas without health insurance, experiencing homelessness and those in financial crisis. OverviewThe Development Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director and is responsible for operational and administrative support of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Central Texas’ fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for serving God’s people in need, an excitement to learn about nonprofit organization management, and an interest in fund development. Major Duties and Responsibilities· Manage donor database (DonorSnap) including gift entry and tracking, data maintenance, fundraising reporting and mail merges· Manage giving campaigns and data in platforms including GiveGab, Benevity, YourCause and Go eCommerce· Steward donors through timely donation acknowledgments· Contribute to email campaigns in Constant Contact· Contribute to social media marketing· Create and update process documentation, recommend process efficiencies as needed· Prepare agendas and talking points for donor meetings· Contribute to fundraising event planning and management· Support donor appeal campaigns including Amplify Austin and #iGiveCatholic

QualificationsBachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred. One to two years of experience, including administrative support. Experience in nonprofit organizations preferred. Competencies· Self-motivated to increase efficiency and deliver excellent work· Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, stakeholders and supporters· Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrating concern for people and the community, a professional presence, self-confidence, sound judgment and active listening skills· Set goals and take accountability for outcomes· Manage multiple projects in a small team environment· Write clearly and concisely, using proper grammar, vocabulary and appropriate tone for a message or audience · Use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) · Use Google Suite programs (Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets)· Work with database programs and the ability to learn and use other software as necessary· Use basic office equipment and the ability to use other tools as necessary Compensation and BenefitsThe Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Central Texas is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to equity and transparency in its hiring practices.
