$130,000 BOE
Responsibilities
Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordinglyConverse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather informationDocument and update the status of all case files in the case management systemSupervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretaryServe as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation
Qualifications
3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is neededA good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is desiredExcellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desiredBachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is requiredMembership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
