Our growing auto body shop seeks a mechanic to join our talented team of auto mechanics and service technicians. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assessing vehicle components ranging from electronic systems to air conditioning units. Responsibilities
Collaborate with supervisors and fellow auto mechanics to diagnose and repair vehicles’ mechanical issuesPreparing estimates, timelines, and other necessary documents for auto repairsEncourage and facilitate preventive maintenance work such as oil changes, air conditioning service, flushing, brake replacement, tire rotation, and moreInspect, test drive, and perform diagnostic tests to determine vehicle problems, parts needed for repairs, and necessary workEngaging in learning opportunities to update job knowledge and technical skills
Qualifications
Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and other repair shop equipment is necessaryA valid driver’s license is necessary Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired An associate's degree from a vocational or technical school and/or ASE certification are a plusPossess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
