Job descriptionWe are seeking an Associate Attorney Personal Injury Family in PIP Litigation department! The ideal candidate is hardworking, ambitious and has an interest and willingness to learn and grow!Qualifications and skills1-2 years of experience in PIP (preferably plaintiff but not required)proficient in speaking and/or writing another language besides English (preferably Spanish or Haitian Creole)A license in good standing to practice law in FloridaThe ability to handle a large and active caseload from the intake process through negotiating with insurance companiesMust be a self-starter and goal oriented with a focus on long term career goalsPride in your client-focused practiceExcellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to effectively manage relationships with a variety of people including – investigators, adjusters, opposing counsel, clients, etc.Ability for assembling and organizing information gathered during intake for presentation at settlement conferences or pre-suit mediationsMust be competent and proficient in the use of different computer software's such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), case management software's, and file organizing software'sDraft/ review substantive demands and other correspondence to insurance companiesRespond to demand offers and other correspondenceAttend recorded statements, examinations under oath, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clientsAbility to negotiate settlementsAbility to work in a fast paced evolving environmen
