POSITION SUMMARY: Briefly describe position summary and overall position
This position will work in the Receiving department to help ensure inventory is processed accurately and assist in process improvements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB):Receive goods into the systemPerform quality and quantity checks on incoming goods/productsReport any discrepancies with PO numbers, quality and/or quantityCreate PO’s for items with outside processesClose jobs or job operations for outside processingReceive all transfers and report any discrepanciesInventory discrepancy investigation (negative stock report)Participate in cycle countsGive input for process improvementsAll other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: High School Diploma Preferred
EXPERIENCE: Working with inventory or other positions that involved extreme attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Excellent attention to detailBasic understanding of mathematicsTeam player who can work independentlyAbility to follow proper safety protocolsAbility to retain learned knowledge
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waistMust be able to stand 8 to 10 hours each day
