Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Test Engineer with a software or computer engineering background, we have an exciting opportunity for you. As a Test Engineer 2, you will play a key role in designing and supporting low to moderate complexity test systems and equipment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and other individuals or organizations involved in project-specific work. What You Will Be Doing…
Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the areaPerforms work that involves the use of conventional engineering practices and standardsDesigns, supports, improves and tests low to moderate complexity test systems and equipment. Ensures designs meet testability and reliability criteriaDevelops, tests and supports low to moderate complexity software applications with predefined designSolid knowledge of software development and analysis tools including editors, compilers, linkers, debuggers, code analyzers, version control software and software testing toolsUnit testing, debugging, software/hardware integration with oversightComplies and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Provides guidance to users on program functioningParticipates in process improvements on a projectParticipates in creation and evaluation of new product test requirements and provides estimates for new test equipment
What We Are Looking For…
Bachelor's degree in Technical/Science or International equivalent requiredBasic Six Sigma tools knowledge requiredGreater than 1 year in related field or entry level Master of Science degree required
