Due to our growth, Woolpert is seeking an experienced Jet-Vac Operator for our Atlanta, GA office.

The Jet-Vac Operator position includes cleaning of storm water and sanitary sewers, and occasional diving in sanitary manholes. The candidate is required to hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and must be able to learn and adapt to Woolpert specific processes and procedures. This position may include occasional travel.

Previous Jet-Vac Operator Experience.Previous Experience driving Industrial Vehicles.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

Must have valid CDL, and maintain a satisfactory driving record, as required by our insurance company.Must be willing to occasionally dive manholes.Must have general knowledge of sanitary sewer systems.Must have reliable source of transportation to jobsite.Must pass basic safety training.Must be willing to work outdoors, in all-weather.Answers questions from office engineering personnel about data collected in the field and collection methods.Set up, operate, and maintain field equipment.Responsible for following project quality control and quality assurance processes.Must successfully pass periodic drug testing as required by company policy.Must successfully pass a federal background check.Follows Woolpert safety procedures at all times.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

NASSCO CertificationBasic understanding of Mechanical aptitude.

High school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

Ability to frequently lift and move more than 100 pounds.Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.Must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms and climb.Ability to climb down a ladder into manhole with safety gear to access work locations.Must have vision abilities of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
