About The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager who will lead multiple Payroll teams that build and support the foundation for Workday Payroll. You will drive complex initiatives and manage teams that are critical to accelerate our product growth. In this role you will:Collaborate with Product Management and other multi-functional teams to optimally deliver on a product vision/roadmap.You will facilitate collaboration with other product and platform teams to develop new technology and capability to support new requirements and scalability challenges.Encourage, support, and drive innovation in our products and processes

About You

Basic Qualifications

5 years OOP software design and development experience using UML modeling.3+ years building and managing high performing engineering teams4 year degree in computer science or equivalent.3+ years of experience guiding development teams using Agile development methodologies

Experience leading teams delivering large-scale, distributed, and highly concurrent systemsExperience with hiring top class engineersProven deep understanding of the software development lifecycleProven track record of ensuring that features meet requirements and partners are kept up to date throughout the development lifecycleEnergized by helping your team with career growth and personal developmentAbility to learn quickly and enjoy collaboration with teamPassionate about delivering innovative technical solutions to meet client needsProven to be both strategic and detail orientedExperience with UML, SaaS, XML and Integration technologies is a plus

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $148,000 USD - $222,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $140,600 USD - $264,000 USD
