📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title: Oneview EngineerLocation: Irving Texas - - HybridDuration/Type of Job: 8 months Contract RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using OneView and Ansible to streamline infrastructure management processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operational procedures.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts, workflows, and integrations.Monitor and optimize performance of automation solutions to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation engineering and OneView. REQUIREMENTS:Experience as an HPE OneView administrator.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as an Automation EngineerStrong knowledge of automation frameworks, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Redfish API), and infrastructure automation tools.Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for server provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.OneView certification or relevant certifications in automation and infrastructure management.Experience with other automation tools such as Puppet or Chef.Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
