Role & Responsibilities
The IT Support Associate is responsible for day-to-day support of all company end-users. The ideal candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment that encompasses the full range of Information Technology functions. The IT Support Associate must have a general knowledge of networking, firewalls, phone system, and remote support. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. Essential job functions include:
Solving Computer hardware/software problems Configure desktop hardware and software Provide network and remote connectivity hardware/software support Assist other Information Technology staff with hardware/software issues Provide technical support to local & remote users Monitor phone and help desk email Using remote control software to resolve desktop issues Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Desired Qualifications
Background in and exposure to PC maintenance/repair and application support Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required General Network troubleshooting Ability to work with a diverse group of people Strong verbal and written communication Strong problem solving and relationship management skills Bachelor’s Degree in related field is a plus, but not required While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to type, file or lift office supplies up to 20 lbs.
