Summary

The Residential Field Sales Representative (RFSR) is responsible for growing our residential customer base by selling our full line of internet, video, mobile and phone services in designated Single Family Units (SFU’s). The RFSR will also represent the company at community events and provide competitive intelligence within the market.

Duties And Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following

Reach monthly installation goals by selling internet and additional services to new residential customers within an assigned territoryRepresent WOW! Internet, Cable, and Phone at SFU property events, association meetings and other local eventsAchieve minimum number of expected SFU knocks, contacts, appointments presentations and salesPartner with sales leadership, local operations, and marketing teams to collaborate on competitive threats and growth opportunities Demonstrate advanced knowledge of company core values, products, & procedures

Education

High school diploma/GED is required. College degree in sales, marketing or business is preferred.

Experience/Skills Needed

One to three years of professional sales experience is preferred, preferably in the communications or technology industry or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be highly organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressureAbility to self-motivate and work independentlyAbility to meet external demands, pressures, strict deadlines, and sales objectivesExperience building relationships with internal and external customersAbility to build and maintain professional client relationshipsAbility to articulate and communicate to internal and external customers.Professional appearance and attitudeStrong verbal, written interpersonal, and listening skills. Ability to work beyond normal business hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
