📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join our Clifton Park, NY office. In this role, you will be involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.
Responsibilities
Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projectsProvide support to Lead Project Engineer, Project Manager and other team membersHydraulic design for pump and piping systemsWriting technical reports, memos, communicationsWorking on pilot studies Field work and site visits for projects in various phases
Essential Functions
Possessing effective written and verbal communication skillsFocused on building strong relationship with coworkers and colleaguesCommitted to continual learning and ongoing professional developmentPossessing excellent organization and time management skillsSelf-motivated and results-driven with strong attention to detail
Experience
3+ years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of water resources projectsMS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams requiredAutoCAD and GIS knowledge preferred
Education
B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Certifications
Engineer in Training Certification
