Job Title Low Voltage Systems Designer
Location Tampa Bay, FL
About the Position As the Low Voltage Systems Designer, you will manage reviewing and interpreting project documents to provide complete code-compliant designs inclusive of device layouts, system circuitry, calculations, and detailed drawings for the Low Voltage Systems division.
Position Details/Responsibilities
Design low voltage systems, including intrusion, access control, CCTV, DAS, LAN & Wi-Fi Networks, etc., for commercial and multifamily applications.Act as a resource, providing technical assistance for projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.Provide efficiency reviews and/or value engineering options for existing designs.Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.Design code-compliant, contract-compliant, and cost-effective systems while reviewing scopes of work, specifications, plans, and legal contracts.
Qualifications and Skills
5-8 years' experience with Low Voltage Systems design.Exposure to large-scale commercial construction projects preferred Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; Revit (BIM) and Bluebeam Revu are preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
