📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
An exciting start up in the antibody therapeutics field is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Bioinformatics Scientist to join their growing team. This person will be a key player in their interdisciplinary team and will play a crucial role in advancing technological capabilities and contributing to antibody engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics and a passion for both biology and software engineering
ResponsibilitiesDevelop bioinformatics pipelines and tools for novel and diverse data domains ranging from genomics and proteomics to computer visionMaintain software solutions for data integration, visualization, and analysis.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including biologists, chemists, and engineers, to understand project goals and contribute to multidisciplinary research projects.Integrate diverse biological datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive drug discovery efforts.Implement data storage and retrieval solutions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.RequirementsPhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in bioinformatics research working with diverse data types.Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in relevant bioinformatics and data engineering tools.Experience with version control systems and a commitment to software best practices.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse disciplines.Also a plusDomain knowledge in immunology and antibody engineeringMachine learning experienceImage processing experience
Compensation Range: $140,000/yr-180,000/yrMedical, Dental, Vision, 401(K), Equity
