📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
In this position, you will be developing next generation exoskeleton technology, at a startup company located downtown Akron. Together, we are leading the forefront of advanced technologies, and would be happy to see if you are a good fit for our team. We develop advanced technologies in a number of areas, you will find that we have some of the most interesting projects in the area. ResponsibilitiesDevelop prototype exoskeleton and mechanical energy transfer system, using Fusion 360 or your CAD modeling preference.Fabricate prototype parts in carbon fiber composites in our labPerform mechanical testing on assembled exoskeleton, to determine torque output.Work with a dynamic team of engineers to contribute to advanced technologies of all kinds
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Interns/coops can also apply.Strong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Note that the position work hours are 6pm to 11pm currently.
