Security Analyst with NIST experience

Title: Security Analyst IIIDuration: 06/30/2024 with potential for 1-year extensionsOpen to nationwide candidates. This position can work 100% remote anywhere in the continental US.

Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have experience on NIST controls, system security plans, security assessments, and developing & maintaining It security policies & procedures. The contractor will be required to be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must be available to attend all scheduled meetings during DWD standard working hours of 7:45am – 4:30pm Central Time.Selected hire must work full time with DWD and cannot be working multiple jobs.Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:understanding of NIST standards (8-10 years)comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) in accordance with NIST Special Publication 800-53 (8 years)security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls (8 years)Nice to Have Skills: Writingof IRS 1075, SSA security, or other regulatory requirementswith creating, maintaining IT policy and procedures.(Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred.experience providing this service for government a plus, and experience with DWD's environments will be especially valuable.
