Financial Analyst

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Cypress, CA. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting Yamaha Motor Finance in all aspects of financial business management, including but not limited to periodic long-term and short-term forecasting, strategic planning, financial modeling with profit/loss review and analysis, and financial product pricing development and modeling with an emphasis on the retail finance, wholesale finance, and commercial leasing business groups. In addition, this role will support the Group Managers and Operations Officers with special projects as they arise throughout the year.

What you’ll be doing:

Monitor and analyze budget-to-actual performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.Present financial information to management in clear and concise manner.Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to assess trends and make recommendations.Develop financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.Conduct market research to assess competitive landscape and identify opportunities or risks.Conduct ad-hoc special financial studies and analyses as required and collaborate on cross functional projects that require financial expertise.

What you’ll need to be successful:

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent years of experience.A minimum of 1-2 years of business experience.Strong written & verbal skills, ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manger.Proven track record in analytical thinking and problem-solving within financial contexts.Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and knowledge sharing.Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple projects.Capable of handling projects with competing deadlines effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.Customer Focus: prioritize customer needs and maintain a client-centered approach in financial analysis.

The pay range for this position is $105,250 to $119,750. Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha’s Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
