What You’ll Be Doing:
Manages the day-to-day clinical and operational activities of Occupational Health ClinicOversee clinical and administrative work of on-site registered nurseTriage and treat, as appropriate, minor work related and non-work related injuries and illnessesDispense over the counter and prescription medicationsPerform urine drug screening and breath alcohol testingProvide support and case management for both work-related and non-work related conditionsCoordinate second opinions for employeesCoordinate and plan health education seminarsAssist in budget developmentWhat You Need to Bring to the Table:
Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Asst. ProgramRegistered/certified by the MI Board of Nursing/Board of Physician Quality AssuranceMinimum twelve months related experience (Adult Medicine).A comprehensive understanding of outpatient adult medicine, patient care procedures, medical protocols, testing procedures is necessaryWorkers’ compensation and DOT exams preferred but will consider transferable skillsWhat’s In It For You?
