Yoh has an immediate, 5 month contract opportunity to cover on a LOA for a Sr Category Manager (Toys) within the Entertainment & Media Industry to join our client, OnSite to report to their office in Burbank, CA

What You Will Be Doing

Manage toy Categories: STEM and Plush Negotiate and outline key deal terms for new and current licenseesIdentifies Licensee prospects, evaluates opportunity and executes long-term new business initiativesAssists in development and execution of long and medium term category strategies (1- 2 years out)Owns annual sub-category initiatives, revenue plan and executionPlans and monitors quarterly forecast and annual budget for sub-categoriesManages licensees in partnership with Creative in the Product Line PlansPartners with Licensee, Franchise, Creative and Retail Business Development to drive Franchise initiativesParticipates in business updates, internal and external formal presentations and strategy discussionsPartners with Insights to Identify and apply competitive and industry key learnings and trends.Who You AreBA/BS degree in business or related field requiredStrong licensing acumen and relationship skillsProven ability to execute strategic and operational planSolid negotiating skills with ability to participate in complex retail and licensee agreementsProven financial responsibility and accountability for category – revenue and expensesStrong business development skills with robust experience analyzing data from different sources to identify business opportunities and lay out business plansStrong collaboration and partnership skillsProven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively cross-functionally and with senior managementEffective written and oral communication skills. Ability to create & deliver pitches, presentations; solution-selling orientedStrong organizational/leadership and planning skills requiredStrong and varied computer software knowledge required (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to create and deliver pitch/presentationsKnowledge of retail landscape: key retailers, set dates, buying cycles, sell-in process, etc.Strong and varied computer software knowledge required (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom etc)Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills in addition to strong project managementExceptional time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracyWell organized with effective and proven planning and follow-through skillsSelf-starter, optimistic and dependableManagement has the right to add or change duties and job requirements at any time.
