Join our esteemed client, a well-established insurance company dedicated to innovating precise solutions for policyholders. You'll spearhead the creation of DTS', run it, and record it in a clear and concise report for executives. This role is remote however this person must live within commuting distance to Vacaville or Pleasanton in case the need arises for onsite. Title: User Acceptance Testing ScriptwriterPay Rate: $30/hour - $50/hourLocation: Vacaville, California or Pleasanton, California (Remote, but must be close to office in case the need arises for onsite)Type: ContractResponsibilities: The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Developing and conducting Detailed Testing Scenarios (DTS) for an underwriting policy and billing system.Creating clear and concise documentation of DTS results to facilitate defect replication and regression efforts.Reviewing DTS with subject matter experts and incorporating feedback.Participating in training sessions to gain familiarity with systems, requirements, and procedures.Validating system behavior through DTS execution.Collecting data related to UAT DTS and generating reports.Ensuring all project documentation adheres to standard formats, subject to review and approval.Actively participating in project meetings and contributing insights.Engaging in problem-solving and issue-resolution efforts.Upholding standards for high-quality, scalable, and timely project completion. Knowledge and Skills: 2+ years experience in Workers' Compensation insurance operations, including underwriting, auditing, and policy servicing.2+ years experience in User Acceptance Testing project management.Proficient in MS Word, Excel (Advanced), Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Quality Center.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate solutions to problems.Ability to provide detailed analysis while maintaining focus on overarching goals and deliverables.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.Extensive experience in data processing systems and solution development.Proficient in User Acceptance Testing practices and documentation.Effective communication with users at all levels.Self-motivated and proactive in team collaboration and task completion.Skilled in eliciting and documenting user requirements accurately.Ability to convey complex problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.Capable of presenting technical solutions to management.Flexible in following or taking the lead on projects as needed.Creative and critical thinker in problem-solving and solution selection.Takes responsibility for ensuring solution integrity.
