Ok, so it's been said that product design is the heartbeat of any product-based organisation...

That's according to Justin Mifsud, founder of Usability Geek, who said that 88% of online consumers are less likely to return to a site/product after a bad experience.

This organisation understands that better than most, and they're looking to add an experienced Product Designer to their small in-house team as their product continues to go from strength to strength!

I am ideally looking for product-minded Designers who are comfortable owning the entire product lifecycle from end-to-end, essentially taking on elements of a product management role.

You'll be working with a range of tools/tech (Figma, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD etc.) and the role offers opportunities to move into a leadership position later on down the line, as the team (and business) continues to expand...

You'll also be joining a diverse and inclusive culture, where collaboration, flexibility and acceptance are the key focuses.

In terms of key requirements, we all dislike shopping lists of skills (this company definitely aren't a fan!), so I've narrowed it down to the following:

Genuine interest in all things Design, including any examples of personal projects and a portfolio showcasing some of your work...Experience working in a B2B/B2C environment (ideally for a product-based company)...Skilled across a range of tools including Figma, Zeplin, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD etc...Experience owning the end-to-end design of a product, from research/discovery, synthesis, user flows, wireframes, to UX/UI, and interactive prototypes.

In terms of the other important stuff (i.e. salary, location), here's a quick breakdown:

Salary is $150,000 - $200,000 plus package (401K, stocks etc.)Location is LA - this is office-based with some remote working, but this isn't a remote role (important to bear in mind)

The interview process is as follows

1st Stage - Recruiter screen with me2nd Stage - Telephone interview (20-30 minutes) with the Operations Director3rd Stage - On-site (F2F) interview with the Design teamFinal Stage - Meeting with the Founder
