Cloud Network EngineerThis is a contract opportunity.This is a hybrid opportunity in New York, Boston, and ATL.
About this positionThe Cloud Network Engineer will join the Enterprise Network Services (ENS) Cloud Network Engineering team. This team is responsible for evaluating, designing, and documenting networking solutions for public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructures for the firm. The candidate will collaborate closely with other infrastructure teams to implement these solutions and provide technical guidance, design specifications, and solution-level support to the operations team for cloud connectivity, integration, and application migration.
Job ResponsibilitiesLead network engineer in the cloud application migration process, developing target state and transition state designs for cloud adoption and migration.Ensure full network availability and security during and after the migration process.Build CICD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Network as Code (NaC) using Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager templates.Collaborate with other technical teams at [Company Name] to deliver product and solution-level support.Deliver Network Design Documents based on requirements and best practices.Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while working with diverse audiences, including highly skilled IT professionals and senior management.
Skills/Requirements5+ years of Enterprise Networking experience with a focus on Data Center (DC) design.4+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms such as Azure and AWS.Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure RM template.Solid understanding of client/server, networking (route/switch), and Internet technologies.Knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPBGP, VxLAN.Familiarity with DMVPN, IPSEC, Encryption Standards, and Network Security principles.Experience with Cloud Networking and Security best practices for Public (AWS and Azure) and Private (Kubernetes) Cloud Technologies.Understanding of AWS and Azure architectural principles and key networking services.Network automation skills using DevOps and CI/CD pipeline practices: Python or Shell Scripting, YAML, etc.CCNP / CCIE certification required; AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solution Architect, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification desired.

Pay/Salary Range: Pay Range: $54-$64/hour.
