Project Manager

ZAG Interactive is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, love a challenge and be passionate about the company they work for. Experience in Project Management, Marketing and Communications is a benefit, and applicant must be willing to learn and grow in the position. This position requires working directly with the clients and internal staff to manage multiple website development projects.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and managing the project plan and working with team leads and the project team to execute on plansMonitor day-to-day activities and be actively involved in the project team to ensure work is progressing as plannedManage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization and deliverable datesMaintain project documentation to ensure requirements are clearly communicated, understood and executed uponDevelop a full understanding of project to be able to speak to any of the following: previous deliverables, signed client agreements, systems involved, defects, etc.Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goalsActively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advanceConsistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedbackCommunicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to clients and team members on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channelsProactively identify opportunities and deliver improvementsDemonstrate good project management methodology and project processesWork with strategy, business development and other teams to scope additional project opportunitiesAbility to work closely with team members to identify efficiencies within process and team dynamicProvide support and guidance to the project management team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and at least 5-7 years of experience in project managementMust have working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologiesExcellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skillsDemonstrated ability to work with and support cross-functional project teamsMust be able to distill pertinent information from client communications, and distribute key points to team membersStrong attention to detail and focus on task completion is criticalExperience with the design and development of websites and an understanding of web technologiesStrong knowledge of user experience, web development, web design and marketing is a plusAbility to think strategically at all phases of a projectWork hard, play hard mentalityAbility to understand and document project requirements and dependenciesUnderstanding of business and functional requirementsMobile and social media experience an assetCompetencies in MS Office, Project Management Software and other related common communications tools is required
