📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Qualified candidates would have the following:Required:This position requires the ability to obtain a Customer/NASA background check for which US Citizenship is required.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.Familiarity with common configuration tools (like Windchill/APDM and SharePoint).The applicant must have experience with configuration management.The successful applicant must have strong communication skills, be able to work successfully with a diverse group of engineers, and are capable of working in a high-paced/multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple activities concurrently.The applicant must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
Desired:Experience in System Engineering.Experience with avionics hardware and software.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
Typical Education / Experience:Degree and typical experience in configuration/engineering: Bachelor's and 3 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. A secret clearance is not required; however, candidate must be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time 40-hour week Monday through Friday position located in Huntsville, AL. Some travel may be required.
