Production Operator

Zeochem is seeking a Chemical Operator for night shift working 6pm-6am. The ideal candidate should have:Manufacturing experience in heavy industrial settingAvailability to work 12 hour shifts (night shift pays shift differential)Team oriented approach to support operations group

OVERVIEW

The Chemical Operator runs various chemical production equipment and may receive bulk raw materials used in the process for manufacturing of molecular sieve products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Loads raw materials into equipment hopper from conveyor, scales, and intermediate container, or hand trucksMonitors assigned system processes to ensure quality output of productInspects and measures product to verify conformance to specificationsPackages product into containersIdentifies worn equipment and accessoriesCleans equipment and work areaPerforms other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:HS diploma or GEDAt least 2 years’ experience working with production equipmentShould be mechanically inclined and able to read detailed schematics and instructionsForklift Experience strongly preferredMust be computer literateMust be able to lift up to 60 poundsMust be able to work 12 hour shiftMust be able to successfully pass pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check
