Ziegler is seeking an Investment Banking Summer Analyst to join its Healthcare Investment Banking Group in our Minneapolis office.

Ziegler also sponsors and manages a variety of private equity offerings and proprietary investment funds, and through its sponsored funds, Ziegler invests strategically in the healthcare, senior living, and education sectors. Additionally, Ziegler is an active participant in municipal sales and trading markets through Ziegler Capital Markets.

INTERNSHIP DETAILSPosition: Investment Banking Summer AnalystGroup: Healthcare Investment BankingTiming: Internships generally start at the beginning of summer and end upon your return to school in the fall. Specific dates are flexible as of yet, but more information will be provided at a later date. This is a 10-week paid internship program.

RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities may include but are not limited to:Construct dynamic three statement operating models comprised of bottoms-up, case-driven projectionsConduct detailed financial models including DCF, LBO, and accretion /dilution models, as well as relative valuation analyses including public company comparables and precedent transactionsAssist in preparing Confidential Information Presentations, Management Presentations, and other deal marketing materialsWork alongside Ziegler deal team and client management team to facilitate buyer due diligence processesPrepare analyses of strategic alternatives and valuation analyses for new business generation and pitch booksConduct sector research and develop synthesized report on competitors, market dynamics, and industry outlookData collection and editing in Microsoft Excel and construction of PowerPoint presentations

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSRising Senior with strong academic standing at a leading university or collegeDemonstrated work ethic and willingness to excel in a fast-paced work environmentProficiency in finance and accounting topics with strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to quickly learn on the job and accurately follow directions
