Senior Director Financial Planning Analysis

In this key role at the Company’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, the Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will contribute to essential Finance activities and projects across planning, reporting, and analysis. This is a high visibility, high impact role within the organization working with and reporting directly to the EVP – CFO.

Responsibilities will include:Prepare and consolidate quarterly and annual internal and external financial statements, including all SEC reporting (10Q, 10K).Ensure that reports, filings, and documentation comply with company regulations and SEC reporting guidelines.Establish and maintain internal controls, including SOX narratives.Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial analyses.Develop and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process.Prepare and analyze budget-to-actuals and report on cost variances.Prepare and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and other analyses necessary to support the Company’s strategic and analytical priorities.Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Serve as a liaison to external auditors.

Job requirements and skills:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA License or CPA candidate preferred.At least 5 to 7 years of financial reporting and/or related experience in a public company.Solid working knowledge of internal controls and SOX 404.Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and be flexible in responding to changing business demands.Must have strong research and analytical skills and be detail oriented.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; experience in financial accounting software systems; MS Dynamics experience a plus.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally and with all levels within the organization.
